Possibly Eastern European in origin. Someone takes a wrecked Hyundai Elantra, tears off the clobbered rear, sticks on a donor rear, and fixes it up to make it look like a new car.

Seems reasonably well done, definitely one of the less dangerous cut n shuts. Hopefully if it's sold the new owner knows what they're getting into though...
